Care Groups

Our goal is to be a supportive community that strengthens people to experience transformed relationships with Christ and others through God's Word.

What is a Care Group?

Care Groups are gatherings of people meeting in homes or at PAAC in order to experience:

• Belonging (being accepted & sharing life together)
• Growing (deepening one's understanding & faith in God and His will)
• Reaching Out (encouraging one another to share the Gospel or to touch new people)
• Reaching Up (offering prayer & praise to God)

Groups meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and are comprised of people of all ages, backgrounds and marital status.

 How do I get involved with a Care Group?

2.  Fill out a Care Group card at the Information Centre in the church foyer and place it in the offering plate during a service or hand in the card to the church office. Note: your information will be shared with the Care Group Coordinator who will contact a group leader to connect with you.

Why join a Care Group?

Typically, people report the greatest benefit of being part of a Care Group in the sense of belonging and mutual support that is experienced, as well as the close relationships and friendships that develop.  In many ways the group becomes a caring community where participants can deepen their faith, pray for one another and face struggles together.  Making a Care Group part of your life will provide you with an added opportunity to learn and grow in God's grace.
