February Newsletter Prayer Requests Upcoming Events Feb 1/26 Board Update I am always surprised by the relentless march of time. . . It is hard to believe we’ve already marked one month off our 2026 calendar! As I said in our Jan 1 update, may we be seeing – and looking – for how God is doing a new thing in the life of our church and in us personally as we continue in 2026. We had our elder’s meeting on January 13 marked by good discussion and prayer. Some highlights: We continue to be encouraged (amazed!) at God’s continual provision in our finances. We stopped and had a time of prayer, thanking God for our church family and their generous support of the Christmas Eve offering, our Benevolent fund, the Global Advance and New Ventures Funds and our General Fund. God is using our church congregation to missionally reach out through our finances. Huge Praise! We are working through some of the Policies in our Policy and Procedure Manual to help give better direction to our Pastors as they face cultural challenges to the truth found in scripture and in the Alliance Statements which are reflected in our policies. We need continual wisdom as we discuss our policies considering these pressures. We continue to have people requesting membership – Praise! With that, each person needs to go through an interview process with the elders which is a highlight for us as we get to know new people – and sometimes those who have been here for a long time - who are wanting to be more invested in what we are doing in PAAC. We evaluated the Evangelism Weekend and felt it was very well received by all who attended. We appreciated Adam’s approach to evangelism as he covered the reason of “why” evangelism, our perceptions of evangelism and then helpful tools that we can use in our everyday encounters/relationships with those who don’t know Jesus. A big thanks to Fischers and their crew for serving coffee, snacks, and lunch and then cleaning up! We continue to discuss and discern filling Pastor Agneshia’s position and thankful for the timeframe given to find a replacement. In His Service, Sharon Ardell, Board Chair BOARD UPDATE PRAYER REQUESTS Please pray for the position of Children and Youth Pastor. We know one of the names of God is Jehovah Jireh, my Provider, and we trust that He will provide us with what we need! Please pray for Alpha. It was a great start on Jan 15 th with two full tables. Please pray for all the volunteers and for those doing childcare. This is a new element this year. As well, pray for guests and volunteers to encounter the living Christ for life transformation. For Grief Share as they minister to those from our church and community. And on that note, please pray for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, the loss of health, the loss of a relationship, the loss of a hoped for dream. . . loss leading to grief comes in so many forms. The political storms we are going through throughout the world – not just in Canada and the US. May God continue to show Himself and bring His peace and redemption to the chaos and evil of this world. Our young adults who are in Bible School, college, and university in various parts of Canada. Pray for them to be establishing communities of faith and growing in their walk with God along with success in their academic endeavors. Also, pray as they make decisions regarding summer jobs or placements and for those graduating, what their next steps will be. Pray for our children and teens as they attend public schools. May they be protected from the mistruths of worldly wisdom and be lights as they live out Biblical truth. Pray for Pastor Kirby as he gives leadership to New Life Fellowship Church. May they bring hope to those they minister to; may they continue to establish a core group that will serve and tithe; may Pastor Kirby have continued Godly wisdom as he leads. We praise God for our sister church! For the many ministries in our church from Mom’s Morning Out to Awana to Young Adults to our Men’s Breakfast. . . and so many more. May these all be ways of reaching into our community to bring the gospel and be places of teaching and encouragement for those who know Jesus. May our programming never be done without our vision and mission firmly in front of us. Please continue to pray for our Nominating Committee and for those asked to let their name stand. This is an important process in our church as we seek leaders to serve on the Board of Elders “But as for me, my prayer is to you, O LORD. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your faithfulness.” (Ps. 69:13, ESV) FOLLOW US Facebook / Instagram / Website / Church App

- Mission & Vision | Prince Albert Alliance Church
Mission & Vision Who We Are Statement Of Faith Our Mission We are a community of people growing together in knowing God and making Him known. Ephesians 4:15-16, John 17: 26 We must not assume we can be an island in our faith. God is a relational God: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He has always existed in community. God desires us to join His community (John 17). Community encourages us and keeps us accountable as we walk through life together and as a result, personal growth in character and faith is fostered. Our purpose in growing together is to develop a spirit of self-sacrifice that is committed to the well-being of the other (1 Corinthians 13), whoever the other may be. We can only do this as we grow in knowing God: God the Father who personally welcomes us, through Jesus Christ, into His presence; God the Son – Jesus – the Living Word (John 1) and objective truth behind all reality; God the Holy Spirit who empowers us to live a life free from the bondages of sin and fear (Colossians 1:21, 22). As we live in community with God and others, we grow in our desire to make Him known, reaching beyond our walls and into the greater community. To see lives transformed through Jesus Christ in our church and community. - Romans 12:2 Our Vision Core Values We are committed to the following: 1. The Glory of the Triune God We love him wholeheartedly, worship him sincerely and seek passionately to complete the work he has given us to do. 2. The Authority of the Bible We adhere to our doctrinal statement as a summary of key truths from the Bible that we agree on as a family of churches. We affirm the ministries of preaching and teaching in order to understand, obey and apply the Bible to our faith and practice. 3. Christ-centered Living We lead believers into the fullness of the Spirit and faith in the all-sufficient Christ for healing and power to live holy lives of service. 4. The Church We love the Church universal and seek to plant and nurture healthy, transformational local churches as the means of building Christ’s kingdom and nurturing individual Christians. We minister on the basis of spiritual giftedness as essential to divine power and effectiveness. We encourage dynamic creativity resulting in diverse congregational composition, language and organizational structures in order to fulfill Christ’s desire to reach all people. 5. Lost People We allocate a disproportionately large amount of energy and resources to reaching lost people, discipling them to maturity in, and devotion to, Christ. 6. Missions We give priority to world evangelization. We give priority in our missionary activity to evangelizing those people who have had the least opportunity to hear the gospel, thus expediting the return of Christ. 7. Leadership We intentionally identify and train godly leaders. We affirm and empower our pastors; other credentialed workers and lay leaders, esteeming them highly in the Lord. 8. Strategic Cooperation We serve each other with humility and compassion. We create strategies, structures and policies that enhance local initiative and maximize cooperation in the accomplishment of our purpose. We develop strategic partnerships with those of like-minded message, mission, passion and purpose. 9. Social Responsibility We uphold Biblical justice. We minister to the poor and oppressed as ministry to Jesus himself We encourage and strengthen marriages and families. 10. Stewardship We view all our resources and possessions as God-owned and we use them with integrity, accountability and maximum effectiveness. We embrace faithfulness and sacrifice in the advance of Christ’s kingdom. 11. Prayer We do nothing until we pray.
