April Newsletter Prayer Requests Upcoming Events Dear Church Family: March marked the ending of our year with the AGM, and election/re-election of new board members. A big thank-you to Randy Friesen and Sharon Ardell who have finished their terms with the board, we wish them all the best as they shift their focus of energy and time to other church ministry areas. We were truly blessed to have them serving over the past years. Our first organization board meeting saw the election of officers: Jerry Janzen - Board Chairman Jamie Peake - Vice Chairman Ron Poetker - Treasurer Duane Neudorf - Secretary The focus of our time in this meeting was a reviewing of structures, and setting strategic goals for the coming year. The past year we had and evangelistic focus culminating with the Adam Driscoll seminar in January. This year we are focusing on developing and growing leaders in our church and beyond. The first initiative will be a leadership focused board retreat at the church on April 18. This will be followed up with Chris Throness preaching on the 19 complete with a church meal afterwards and a special invite and time with Chris for all those considering church ministry as a full time of part- time work option. In closing I want to direct your attention to 1 Peter 1:3-12 where he reminds us that we serve the living God who equips, blesses, restores and carries us as he prepares us for the future. - Who We Are | Prince Albert Alliance Church
Who We Are FAQ Statement Of Faith We are glad you are here! A quick welcome from Pastor Mark: Take your Next Step! Why We Exist We weren't meant to be an island in our faith. God is relational (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), and He has always existed in community. In the same way, He has designed us for community with Him and one another as we walk through life. As a community of people our desire is to know God: God the Father who personally welcomes us, through Jesus Christ, into His presence; God the Son - Jesus - the Living Word and objective truth behind all reality; God the Holy Spirit who empowers us to live a life for Him free from sin and fear. As we KNOW GOD together, we ultimately want to MAKE GOD KNOWN, in our city, and in our world. How We Accomplish Our Mission Prayer Talking, listening, and responding to God as a way of life. Serving Serving within the church in order to build up and encourage the body of Christ. Discipleship An active process of understanding Biblical foundational truths through personal and group study for one's understanding and growth in the gospel. Reaching Reaching out with the gospel to those who have not yet heard or believed in Christ. Connecting Being in relationship with others in the church and broader community. Worship An attitude that honours God in all we think, say, and do. Our Mission & Vision What time is your service? Where are you located? Where do I park? What door do I use? What should I wear? So whether you are wearing a suit or dress, or flip flops and shorts, you will likely find lots of people dressed just like you. We have parking in our main lot, but at times it can get fairly full! Not to worry though, we also have lots of street parking as well as free parking at the strip mall lot across the street. In addition to this, we have reserved parking spaces for those with limited mobility by our main entrance on the North side of the building. We believe worship serves as a way to connect with God, express gratitude, and seek spiritual growth. You’ll find that we sing a mix of contemporary worship songs as well as hymns. We believe that God is worthy of all honour and praise - so we worship passionately! At PAAC there are variety of ways to get connected; from Community Groups, ministry events, and more.
