Dear Church Family:
- June was a month with many significant events occurring. June 8-12 Pastor Mark, Sandra, Pastor Liam, Amy Hollands and myself attended the Alliance National Assembly in Calgary. The vision of doubling the reach of the Alliance was a primary focus as well as hearing and seeing how God is blessing the ministries of the Alliance both at home and abroad. Specific highlighting was made of outreaches and church growth in India and Egypt. The National Conference is also an important time for pastors and staff to renew and grow relationships in the Alliance family as well as to give opportunities for both corporate and personal times of study and worship with friends and partners in local and overseas ministry.
- A significant part of doubling the reach of the Alliance is training and educating new pastors. PAAC is using a government grant to bring Owen Wilson on staff for the summer as a Pastoral intern. We look forward to watching him grow in spirit and strength as he works at PAAC this summer.
- June saw the culmination of Agneshia Dixon’s formal ministry at PAAC and the welcoming of Pastor Aidan as our new Youth and Family Ministries Pastor, and the initiation of his summer program for youth and families.
- Trisha Poetker now has moved fully into a combined role of Children’s Ministry director and front office administrator. Please reach out to her as she steps into these combined roles beginning with VBS July 20-24 at PAAC.
- Now is the time that summer ministries are in full swing with an outreach team going to Deschambault Lake for the week of July 12-18.
- Construction and refurbishing is happening at PAAC with the upstairs toddler room getting an update, redoing the failing outdoor backstairs, as well as the front sidewalk and ramp. Planning is being initiated for a parking lot refresh possibly in 2027.
- Financially things are a bit tight as giving has dipped in the last months and we have fallen behind on our proposed yearly budget.

PRAYER REQUESTS
- Praise for the healthy arrival of a daughter for Pastor Liam and Rhiannon.
- Prayers for our new and current pastors and staff as they grow and are challenged in their roles at PAAC.
- Pray for the many ministry opportunities this summer as you visit, renew and grow relationships with family and friends both new and familiar. May God be blessed and honoured this summer.
- Pray for the outreaches at PAAC with the weekly youth and family events and VBS.
- Pray for our city as the Gospel is presented in our community both informally as well as in more organized programs with the Light up Prince Albert Festival on July 10 and 11.
- Pray for our youth and students as summer activities present new opportunities for growth in their faith and walk with Christ.
- Please pray for those with specific health challenges, that God may give them much grace, wisdom and patience as they negotiate the path before them.
Finally, I pray each of you may be richly blessed this summer as you find new ways to serve and care for those you encounter in your walk with the Lord.
